Color – Single Process: This service is performed when a client wants to lighten the hair, cover up gray hair, or enhance the natural haircolor. It usually processes for 20-45 minutes depending on the situation. The time between appointments is generally 4-6 weeks. It is a process that lightens and deposits color into the hair simultaneously. Single-process coloring usually contain a lightening agent, an aniline derivative tint, and an alkalizing agent to activate when peroxide is added. Most color is formulated to be used with 20 volume (6%) peroxide. When other volumes of peroxide are used, the color results will be altered.
Higher volume = more lift = longer processing time = less density of color achieved
Lower volume = less lift = shorter processing time = more density of color achieved
At Allure Hair Salon the price is based upon the density (amount of hair per square inch) and the length of the hair.
Density – Sparse or Medium or Heavy
Length – Short or Medium or Long or Extra Long
